Blistering Cold

As part of my vacation for nearly a month, first I spent two weeks in Florida, a few pics of which are posted here, and after that I headed to upstate New York again as this is where my Mom lives 🙂
Following are some pictures I tried to take, which proved more difficult than anticipated considering the windchill at times was -20F, which basically gives the untrained about 2-5 minutes before your face starts to fall off entirely.

In case the above pictures weren’t convincing enough on the iciness of the situation, here’s a video of one of the coldest sunsets I’ve ever experienced. Where it looks lovely, what you don’t see is that my car was standing a several feet away, running, with the heat blasting so I could revive myself the second I was done snapping pics.
